Harley-Davidson Canada

Taylor Smyth Architects is proud to announce that we have been engaged for the design and fit-out of Harley-Davidson Canada’s new Canadian corporate office headquarters located at the Vaughan Metropolitan Centre, in the heart of Vaughan’s emerging urban core.

We are delighted to work with Harley-Davidson Canada to envision a dynamic collaborative space that celebrates the iconic Harley-Davidson brand while expressing the unique characteristics of Harley-Davidson’s Canadian history and future.

Harley-Davidson Canada recently re-established itself as a wholly-owned Canadian subsidiary led by managing director, Anoop Prakash, with the mandate to revitalize the Harley-Davidson brand in Canada and attract a new generation of riders. It is a significant time for Harley-Davidson Canada as they will be celebrating their 100th anniversary in Canada in 2017, and recently launched the Milwaukee-Eight, the ninth generation of the company’s Big Twin engine.

To get a taste of the Harley-Davidson experience, head over to Ossington Avenue to the 1903 A Harley-Davidson Café, where you can take a test ride on the Harley JumpStart simulator, while enjoying a lovingly crafted Cortado. The pop-up will be open till the end of September.

A Tudor goes modern

Taylor Smyth Architects’ renovations to the Gallery House has been recently featured on National Post – by Martha Uniacke Breen.

I like that there’s an element of surprise in the house. There’s an interesting use of materials, and a real sense of discovery and delight as you move through the spaces. And it works well for the family. It’s a happy house.
